From June 26-29, Dr. Aleksei Pakhnevich - Institute of Biological Stocks of the Russian Academy of Sciences came to inspect the research samples such as bricks, adhesives tested on zone B towers ( My Son) since 2015, to assess the samples have any signs under the impact of natural environment rain, moisture, hot sun ... To aim to create compatible products such as materials on existing Cham temples and towers.
This is a research project in coordination between VinLT Institute of Technology and Russian expert. This is the third time Dr. Aleksei Pakhnevich came to My Son to work. At the end of this mission, he had a meeting with the leader of Quang Nam Department of Science and Technology to report the results of research and testing at My Son. If the research project is successful, it will contribute to the preservation of My Son Cultural Heritage area better and better in the near future.
