My Son World Cultural Heritage Conservation and Renovation Project funded by the Indian Government based on the Memorandum of Understanding "Conservation and Embellishment of the World Cultural Heritage Site in My Son, Quang Tri Province Vietnam, Vietnam "was signed between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Indian Culture since 2014. After three years of implementing the results, the work of preserving two groups of temple towers H and K has been completed. .

This morning, June 25, 2019, the project monitoring team was led by Dr. Devyani Khobragade, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Development Cooperation, staff of the General Department for Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, Mr. Sujit Biswas, Mr. Pham Quyet Thang, Officer in charge of Economics - Trade, Indian Embassy in Vietnam paid a working visit to My Son Cultural Heritage Site.
Mr. Er Basudev Kumar (archaeological engineer, team leader) reported the results achieved after three years of implementing the conservation of two groups of towers H and K. The project has recently completed the restoration and restoration work of Group K, now basically completing the restoration work of Group H, expected to end in June 2019, it can open to welcome visitors. in accordance with the committed implementation plan. Mr. Phan Ho - Director of My Son DSH Management Board reported to the delegation about the plan in the coming time, accordingly, the period from 20120-2021 restoration work will continue in the group of temple A. According to Phan Ho then this is a group of towers with the architectural scale as well as the best cultural, artistic, technical ... values ​​in the overall My Son monument, including A1 temple is a masterpiece of Cham Pa architecture. .

Therefore, it is necessary to excavate and collect data before conservation intervention. At the same time, it is necessary to be careful and improve the preservation of the original element in the most sincere way, so in time the project can generate an additional one to two years. At the meeting of the unit, the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board also proposed the Indian side to help preserve the F1 tower, a project with high risk of collapse.

After the meeting, the supervision team went to the group of H and K towers, which have just completed the restoration work and learned about the group of towers A is about to be restored. Dr. Devyani Khobragade was very happy and pleased with the results of the project, and acknowledged the suggestions made by the Vietnamese side.
