DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND MUSEUM PRELIMINARY SURVEY OF THE INSCRIPTION AND STELE SYSTEM FOR THE PREPARATION OF A DOCUMENTARY HERITAGE DOSSIER AT THE MY SON TEMPLE COMPLEX
In order to gradually establish a scientific foundation for the preparation of a documentary dossier proposing the recognition of the inscription and stele system at the My Son Temple Complex as heritage, today the Department of Conservation and Museum under the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board conducted an initial preliminary field survey.

On the occasion of the celebrations of Southern Liberation Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1), the Department of Culture and Arts organized the “Colors of Heritage” festival performance at My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, attracting a large number of visitors. Carefully choreographed and structured into four parts, the program offered a vibrant artistic journey that harmoniously connected tradition and modernity.
On April 28, 2026, the Management Board of My Son World Cultural Heritage, in coordination with the Inter-communal Forest Protection Sub-department of Area 3, received one slow loris voluntarily surrendered by a local resident to the People’s Committee of Dai Loc Commune. Following the handover, the competent authorities conducted a health assessment, completed all required legal procedures, and released the animal back into a suitable natural forest habitat.
