On the morning of December 29, at the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City held a ceremony to announce the decision on the appointment of the Director of the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board. According to Decision No. 806/QĐ-SVHTTDL dated December 25, 2025, issued by the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Ms. Trương Thị Hồng Hạnh, Mr. Nguyễn Công Khiết, Party Committee Secretary and Deputy Director in charge of the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board, was appointed as Director of the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board. The term of appointment is five (05) years, effective from December 29, 2025.
 

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyễn Công Khiết expressed his gratitude for the attention and trust of the City People’s Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in appointing him as Director of the Management Board. He also acknowledged that the responsibilities ahead are substantial and affirmed his confidence that, together with the collective staff, he will strive to successfully fulfill the assigned tasks and further develop the organization.
Mr. Nguyễn Công Khiết was born in 1972 and is a native of Nam Phước Commune (Da Nang City). He holds a master’s degree in Public Management, a bachelor’s degree in Museum Conservation, and a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages (English).
Prior to July 1, 2025, Mr. Nguyễn Công Khiết served as Director of the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board. From July 1 to the present, following the merger of the unit into the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, he has served as Deputy Director in charge of the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board.
