On the afternoon of April 23, 2026, at the Office of the Management Board, a signing ceremony was held for the Coordination Regulations on ensuring security and public order for cultural and tourism activities at My Son Sanctuary between the Management Board of My Son World Cultural Heritage and Thu Bon Commune Police.

Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Dung, Vice Chairman of Thu Bon Commune People’s Committee; Lieutenant Colonel Phan Duy Thanh, Chief of Thu Bon Commune Police; Mr. Nguyen Cong Khiet, Director of the Management Board of My Son World Cultural Heritage; Ms. Van Thi Cam Tu, Deputy Director of the Management Board of My Son World Cultural Heritage; Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Thanh Tuan, Deputy Chief of Thu Bon Commune Police; Lieutenant Colonel Truong Ho Ngoc Vu, Deputy Chief of Thu Bon Commune Police; Major Nguyen Thai Son, Deputy Chief of Thu Bon Commune Police; along with representatives of the professional divisions of Thu Bon Commune Police.

The signing of the Coordination Regulations aims to establish close and unified cooperation between the two forces, contributing to the maintenance of political security, social order and safety, and the development of a safe and civilized tourism environment within the heritage site.

Under the signed Regulations, both parties will coordinate in carrying out key tasks, including strengthening the exchange and sharing of information related to security and public order; coordinating the protection of internal political security; organizing patrols and inspections to ensure security, public order, and fire prevention and firefighting in key areas; and ensuring safety for festivals, cultural and tourism events, particularly during visits and working sessions of Party and State leaders as well as international delegations.

In addition, the two units will work closely together in protecting state secrets; promoting public awareness campaigns and the nationwide movement for safeguarding national security; and maintaining regular coordination meetings, periodic reviews, and final evaluations to assess implementation effectiveness and make timely adjustments in line with practical conditions.

Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary is an important cultural destination of Da Nang City, attracting a large number of domestic and international visitors. The signing of these Coordination Regulations carries practical significance, contributing to improved effectiveness in maintaining security and public order, while creating favorable conditions for preserving and promoting heritage values in association with sustainable tourism development.
