In the framework of cooperation on cultural preservation between the two governments of Vietnam and India, cooperation between the Indian Ministry of Culture, Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board, experts from the Institute of Archeology India, Vietnamese experts, technical staff and nearly one hundred skilled workers have carried out the survey, research, discovery, excavation and restoration work of H.
Group H is located on a small hill to the northwest of My Son valley (East longitude 108007'22 ", North latitude 15045'52). There is an altitude of about 47m above the sea level and architectural cluster. The main construction materials are decorative bricks and stones, H2 front line is roofed with tiles. The basic solution in restoration at H area is to apply archaeological restoration methods, uphold the preservation of the original element, reposition the architectural components, reinforce the points at risk of damage. Some are displayed on the spot, the rest is taken to storage for research and display later.
After 4 years of implementation since 2016, the restoration of Group H has been completed and put into service for visitors from July 1, 2019.
